Over the years hundreds of students have enjoyed coming to Anne Lang's watercolour and sketching courses at Broadway Foot.
With 22 years of teaching watercolour, initially at Adult Education Classes and privately for the last 16 years, Anne provides sensitive and patient structured tuition at all levels. Anne is also a popular demonstrator to Art Societies.
As a practising artist, her traditional, representational paintings of landscapes, flowers and cattle have been exhibited widely, with many successful exhibitions at North Yorkshire galleries.
Anne's paintings have been commissioned by ICI, Philips Petroleum, Trust House Forte, the Duchy of Lancaster, St. Peter's School York and many other businesses and private individuals. The favourite subjects of these commissions being the beautiful scenic areas of the North York Moors and the North East coast .
Other favourite painting locations include the Lake District , Scotland , Tuscany and Venice . Her work is available at Broadway Foot and at Talents Gallery, Malton.
