Broadway Foot is a Seventeenth Century thatched cruck cottage surrounded by a large, well-kept garden full of interest and colour. It is an idyllic painter's paradise as there is a huge variety of subject matter to draw and paint.
Amongst the traditional stone outbuildings, an ancient barn has been renovated into a light, airy, purpose-built art teaching studio, offering modern facilities and centrally heated comfort with stunning views from the large windows.
The adjoining farmland is a wonderful asset as painters can enjoy the space and quiet of 200 acres of private landscape with woodland, lake, river and panoramic moorland views. The whole area is a gem with attractive stone villages, historic Rievaulx with its Cistercian Abbey and traditional market town Helmsley.
Non-painting
partners can enjoy wonderful walks in the area plus riding, gliding, golf,
fishing, 4WD driving, or visiting stately homes and gardens.
REFRESHMENTS
Tea, coffee, soft drinks, snacks and a light lunch are all included in the price.

Selected Artists' Quality paints; paper and brushes are usually available for purchase. Please enquire for specific availability.
