philosophy behind the courses is to enjoy coming to such a beautiful
place while discovering a creative talent or learning new skills.
Good watercolour paintings essentially have freshness and clarity as well as tonal impact. The courses have been designed to develop and extend sound watercolour techniques to help the student towards this aim.
Broadway Foot is situated in the beautiful, unspoilt North Yorkshire Moors National Park just 10 minutes from the traditional market town of Helmsley and 1 hour by road from York.
Sensitive, patient tuition in small groups - a maximum of 10 students - is structured to suit individual capability, so that painters can gain confidence and thus develop their own approach and style.
