After many years gradually refining our breeding policy, pressure of other business activities has made the decision of having a major reduction sale of the pedigree cattle very difficult but regrettably necessary. A sale date of February 28th 2001 was booked at Harrison & Hetherington in Carlisle.

UPDATE: The foot and mouth outbreak prevented our sale happening. The intention is still to have a major sale in 2002.

We have now decided to try for a sale at Carlisle on Saturday 20th April 2002. All cattle will be offered for sale including Ryedale Orion and Ryedale Raffles. DEFRA may still have the last word!
